ST JOHN’S WOOD + travel: Top, Rota Nanny (to take over from MN) for G5 months - ASAP start

This is an ASAP start to take over from an outgoing Maternity Nurse who leaves at the end of April, and it is highly desired by our client that the new Rota Nanny has a good handover and smooth transition for continuity.

Our professional, super-busy parents in St John's Wood are seeking a top, Rota Nanny to provide on-call 24/7 care, supporting Mum with their adorable baby girl who is currently 5 months old. This is a brand new position taking over from the family’s current Maternity Nurse, therefore the rota hasn't been formally set as yet, but will probably be 1 - 2 weeks on/off, with flexibility for a longer rotation when travelling.

The new candidate will ideally have some formal childcare training with a great track record, and it is a requirement that nanny will have had professional travel experience with young babies upwards. Previous rota and HNW experience would be preferred, our clients are open to the candidate's career level and happy to consider applicants with a minimum of 2 years/+ private household experience. Most importantly, the family are seeking a nanny with good intuition and emotional intelligence, able to work well with others and with excellent relevant/appropriate, hands-on experience with this age group.

As this is a new position, it is imperative that new Rota Nanny has good communication and will be on the same page with the other rota nanny, working extremely well together and with Mum. Full nursery duties will be required from the candidate to ensure little one is fully supported through her developmental stages and establishing new routines as she grows.

Our clients do like to travel abroad, and there will be a mix of short-haul (Ibiza) and long-haul (Australia) overseas trips, so the Nanny should be OK with travelling with families and have previous experience travelling with young charges. As outlined, there will be a set rotation but flexibility with the rota is required when travelling to Australia or other long-haul destinations. A nanny who is a confident London driver is also highly preferred by the family.

Our clients are situated in the heart of St John's Wood, near to some leafy green spaces/parks (e.g. Regent's Park & Primrose Hill) and St John's Wood underground.

This role is to start as soon as possible, to take over from the current Maternity Nurse (who leaves at the end of April), so interviews are now taking place for an ASAP start and a thorough handover period.
